I have to say that I am extremely happy with the care and attention I received yesterday while at PAH..
I came in for a Sentinal Lymph Node Biopsy which meant I had to have a radioactive injection early then up to Nettleswell Day Unit for surgery.
The staff in the Nuclear medicines department were kind and caring, really put me at ease.
The procedure although some say it feels like a bee sting, didn't hurt at all, maybe this is because of the persons ability to do their job well.
I then went up to the day unit and hung around until my theatre slot.
I was lucky and first on the list.
My surgeon, came and found me and at all times treated me respectfully and remembered small details about my family etc.
I have at no time felt like a number.
ALL staff were excellent.
And I cannot understand why PAH has on occasion gained bad reviews
