"Unfortunately a regular visitor"

About: Royal Bournemouth General Hospital

Unfortunately I suffer from Iritis. This has necessitated visits to BEH a few times over the years, more so recently. I always feel I am in safe hands with people who know what they are doing. The staff are friendly, helpful and good at what they do. When I see programs about how people abroad have to suffer I realise how lucky I am to have such professionals around that I can call and receive treatment. It is a privilege to have such a good clinic nearby opening 7 days a week. I have nothing negative to say about the place and can only thank you sincerely for treating what can be a very painful condition with a genuine attitude that is not just a case of curing but also of care.

Dear Simon D

Thank you for your positive feedback about the Eye Unit and the treatment you receive there.

We are pleased to hear that you find the staff friendly and helpful giving good levels of professional care. We are indeed fortunate to have such excellent and accessible facilities at this hospital and throughout Dorset.

Your comments will be passed on to the Sister and Matron in the Ophthalmology Department to share with their staff.

We hope your Iritis is feeling better now and wish you well.

Regards

Patient Engagement Team
