My brother and I were very impressed with the staff. My brother is profoundly deaf, so therefore, needs someone to go with him to any appointments. The staff were very kind and patient. He needed an extra measurement to his eye and they arranged for it to be done there and then, which means we didn't have to return to the hospital. My round trip is 50 miles, if I am unable to attend arrangements for a British Sign Language (BSL)interpreter would have to be made.
It is a shame that there is no one in the hospital who is competent in BSL as you must have other patients who need this service.
