"Being turned away as I wouldn't take medication."

About: Craig Hyfryd Health Centre

(as the patient),

I was diagnosed with Borderline personality disorder several years ago. I took several medications which did help. I also took up diving. On my medical I was told I would not be able to drive on the medications. So with the help of my doctor I weaned myself off of them. It helped knowing that there was someone there who understood my health problem. I asked them if I would instead be able to receive CBT. They then referred me for this and discharged me. No notification of being discharged! I found this out myself when I asked for an appointment when I felt suicidal. Having a person I trusted throw me out was not helpful, and resulted in months of self harm and personal abuse. I am disgusted in the treatment of being cast out with no help what so ever. The person I was referred to for CBT said I was fine just a sad house wife.
