I went in for a fundoplication surgery last Friday. From the moment I arrived I was extremely nervous but the staff were so kind and processed things quickly. My anaesthetist immediately put me at ease and was also very kind as were their colleagues in the room whilst I was put to sleep.
Surgery went well and I woke up in recovery being cared for by an absolute angel who kept me out of pain and was just superb in every way.
Such a lovely nurse.
I went to stay on Brook Ward for a couple of nights and the care and compassion along with help in every way was faultless the entire length of my stay. Every single member of staff on that ward was superb. From hostesses, cleaners to nurses, health carers and doctors. My care was incredible and way above and beyond what I thought it might be. I would like to say a massive thank you to east Surrey hospital and it's amazing staff for making a horrible surgery as comfortable and easy as it could be. There is nothing to fault in anyway. I was shown nothing but kindness care and compassion by everyone. I must say the place was absolutely sparkling clean also and this was maintained through the the day many times on the ward
