About: St Mary's NHS Treatment Centre (Portsmouth)

I visited this department at around 7pm on a Thursday evening with a bad cut to my knuckle and finger.

I was checked in promptly and kept informed of waiting times on the board.

The whole reception and hospital department was spotlessly clean and comfortable.

Despite the fact the board showed a 90 minute wait, I still felt this was much better than I would have faced at A and E.

However the 90 minute wait was only around 20 minutes before I was called through, treated, dressings in place and on my way home.

Such a fabulous facility long may it remain.
