"Not a Complete Success..."

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital / Ophthalmology

Had cataract surgery on both eyes one after the other. Not a success, lens implant too weak they decided after surgery complete and soon after opacification which required laser treatment.

Unfortunately due to Consultant being stressed by the workload they had taken on and rushing the process this treatment has made the eyesight worse and now left with what can only be described as net curtain that comes over the eye blurring the vision from the debris left from the procedure.

Disappointing but was told with a shrug of the shoulders that I would have to live with it and that my brain might start to ignore it !!!

As always with the NHS - lots of staff walking around with single pieces of paper, delays experienced every time I went to the clinic and indifferent support staff.
