I've recently been a residential visitor aka an inpatient of NHS tayside
I was admitted at no notice to Perth Royal Infirmary to a CCU ward, I was treated exceptionally well, examined and assessed by professionals in no time at all, reassured, and told the facts of my over indulgent life excesses damage to myself.
I was cared for, nay pampered, prior to transfer to the specialist treatment centre at Ninewells Hospital in nearby Dundee, again my care and needs / wants (which I hope were not to demanding or extreme) were catered for without issue..
I received what can only be exceptional care, respect, dignity, and treatment.
I've discharged from the cardiac care unit now, and only now am afforded the time to say thank you to all, including local GP's, ambulance staff, health care assistants, staff nurses (whom I still respect with a fearful disposition for some reason) to student nurses, doctors, specialist nurses, porters, Registrars and Consultants, and I just want to say, THANK YOU.
If it weren't for your concerted and personal effort I would not be here.
