I have had this procedure for the fist time after numerous cardioversion over the last few years.
Was fully informed of the risks and chances of success by the Cardiologist, there is no guarantee of success but if it meant it reduced the chances of AF then it was worth it.
Like many people have said it is a very busy department but the staff on L14 and in the catheter labs were all very professional and pleasant. They were able to but me at ease about the procedure and how I was to feel afterwards.
You really get a sense that they know what they're doing, explain stuff well and show a caring attitude that goes beyond just doing a job.
I'd recommend them to anyone who is referred to them for any heart procedure.
