I had a 43 week wait for total hip replacement, I was scared when I heard it would be the Alex due to negative media coverage, but was very much reassured by the professional and caring approach of the staff who cared for me. I felt safe, respected, cared for and encouraged. They made time for everybody, despite busy periods and clinically needy patients. The facilities were very clean, nice calm and caring atmosphere, and procedures were explained and consent obtained before anything was done to me, a significant improvement on some of my experiences in another local hospital over the years,. Id like to hope that negative comments will fade away now and that staff can get on with the jobs they have been trained to do in a supportive and well managed organisation, the staff three are a credit to the Trust.
"delighted with friendly caring professionalism..."
