About: North Tyneside General Hospital

On Friday 3rd March 2017 I visited the Endoscopy Dept within North Tyneside General Hospital and I have to say I was extremely impressed overall with my appointment.

The receptionist who took my details was lovely.

I was extremely anxious and nervous about the procedure and both the nursing staff and doctors were amazing.

They were so compassionate and emphatic, truly put me at my ease, I did ask for the sedation and there was no questions asked it was all explained to me in full, the effects of both the throat spray and the sedation, by both nurses and doctors, Amazing. Thank you so much.

I was given my results before leaving the dept, and they was also explained to me.

The ward itself was immaculately clean and all staff were really friendly and cheerful.

Absolutely exemplary I can't praise them enough. Thank you once again everyone.
