I have now been seen by 2 Consultants since January 2017 in 2 different specialiites although my conditions are interlinked.
I have not received my copy of letters to my GP so I know my GP will not have received copies either.
As both consultations involved medication changes when I go to my GP Practice they will not have been informed nor updated about these - so how can medication be altered appropriately or correctly.
I appreciate how "cash strapped" the NHS is but surely this is a vital service (secretaries to Consultants) that is needed.
As a patient I get very frustrated that I cannot contact the Specialist Clinic direct, if you leave a voicemail it never gets dealt with and when you try to alter an appointment you get "discharged" - what a mess!
I would have raised this if I had been able to attend the Big Conversation last night.
