"Mole removal"

About: Pinderfields General Hospital / Dermatology

I went to have a mole removed. I had my consultation on Wednesday and they booked me in for removal promptly on the Thursday, ecause theybhad the availability.

The nurse who performed the procedure was so lovely and answered all of my questions and really put my mind at ease. There was another nurse, (didn't catch their name) but they were equally lovely and literally held my hand throughout. Not that they needed to in the end as I felt nothing!

The only bit of discomfort was from the needle to numb the area they were working on. That was it!

The mole was out and I didn't even realise they'd done it until I saw them stitching me up.

They explained to me how to care for the wound and what I needed to do re keeping it clean and the suture removal.

The only negative I can think of is that it's in an older building within the hospital grounds and that it doesn't feel as fresh and clean as the rest of the hospital. But other than that, no complaints.
