About: The Tunbridge Wells Hospital

My partner who uses a wheelchair was transferred from patient transport wheelchair to a chair and was told that a wheelchair would be found for him he waited over 2 1/2 hours for the wheelchair kept being told none were avalible, He is in constant pain and shoul sit with his legs raised this wasn't possible , he also waited well over an hour for patient transport to return home he left here at 10 .30 and didn't return until 6 o'clock to be seen for less than 15 mins this is not acceptable and as a result he is in severe pain today. Surely in such a large hospital it shouldn't take over 2 1/2 hours to find a wheelchair , no one checked on him he had to keep asking for a wheelchair , 7 1/2 away from home for an appointment is a long time for someone to wait in pain, very disappointed with such poor service
