"96 year old Aunt cared for on Ward 22"

About: Arrowe Park Hospital / Accident and emergency

My 96 year old aunt was brought in at the end of January suffering from a very bad urinary infection. In A+E she was seen quite quickly and moved to Resus from where she was moved to Ward 22.

I must say she was treated so well and with the utmost respect. Her care on Ward 22 was exemplary. Polite, friendly and caring staff took the fear out of her stay.

Thank you all for your care, your caring attitude and attention to detail.

Many thanks for your review. We are pleased that the staff in the Emergency Department and on Ward 22 were able to reassure your aunt, and embodied the caring values of patient dignity and respect to which our hospital aspires. Your comments will be passed to both departments, whose staff will be glad to receive such positive feedback.
