"My doctor helps me get involved in my care plans in the ward round"

About: St Andrew's Healthcare Birmingham / Edgbaston

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I am always involved with my care plans and with my care co-ordinator in every aspect. I can also change them If I want to and update them at anytime. I couldn't do this when I was in Northampton. My doctor helps me get involved in my care plans in the ward round and its important that I am involved. My family and my pastor are also involved. This works well for me.

Thank you for your feedback about care plans. We are currently getting lots of different opinions about the standard of care planning, and we may look in to meeting with patients to get their views. If you wish to talk about this further, please talk to your care coordinator or a member of the patient experience team.
