(as the patient),

I have lung cancer and skin cancer so have to attend many clinics including 2 emergency admissions. I can honestly say that I have huge respect for the staff and treatment I have received over the last 6 months in several departments.

For example today I attended the skin clinic for mole removal. The 2 nurses who performed surgery chatted away and made it a totally relaxing atmosphere and an enjoyable experience being in their company.

Nothing has been too much trouble and staff have been friendly, understanding and professional at all times.

I feel very annoyed with the constant negative press given to the NHS over the past few months and just wanted to give praise where praise due.

Thank you, it is great to hear the balance. We can always strive to improve but there are truly great things happening on a daily basis, and it is lovely to have such public endorsement from the most important group we have - service users.
