About: Adult Specialist Services / Podiatry

(as the patient),

Letter received Fri for appointment at podiatry Mon afternoon. So didn't see til I'm home Fri eve. Off on hold Sat. No facility to leave message to cancel Sat. Been trying all morning to get through but engaged. This will be marked as missed appointment. It is not a missed appointment I think it's bad management of appointment system. Even if I'd been at home I couldn't just take a day of work without notice. Very frustrating.

Please accept my apologies for the short notice you were given and the difficulty you had in trying to contact the service to cancel your appointment.

We are in the process of upgrading the telephone system to allow service users to leave messages.

If you would like to send your details to the podiatry Single Point of Access via email to the email address below, we will be able to reschedule your appointment and amend your records accordingly.
