We were unfortunate to have to need to use your A&E department back in October whilst visiting friends in Canterbury.
What was possibly the worst night of our lives was made easier to cope with thanks to the fantastic staff in A&E.
Our 5 year old daughter was rushed in via ambulance following what was believed to be a febrile convulsion, (which lasted for a long time). She was fit and well and nothing seemed different that day or when we put her to bed.
So, when I found her unresponsive and had been sick immediate panic and fear set in.
However, I cannot praise or thank the two Paramedics that arrived on the scene first for their fantastic care, professionalism and calm nature, they were simply amazing and I wish I could remember their names.
On arriving at A&E we were immediately met by a whole team of professionals who again were just fantastic, not only with our daughter but with us too, always introducing themselves and explaining what they were doing.
We felt in very safe hands.
I was a wreck, but they were all amazing and thank you just doesn't seem enough, but thank you!! My daughter was admitted for observation and discharged the next day.
Thank you so much for everything.
"Brilliant A&E staff"
