What could be improved
Attended this hospital after booking through the Choose and Book service. First thing they did was delay the initial appointment for over a month. On arriving at the hospital was met with a delay in appointment time.Pointed out problems I have with visiting hospital and then accused of upsetting nursing staff when requested to make a complaint. Consultant backed up staff at all levels after complaint was made and was utterly offensive towards me. This was despite informing his secretary in advance of problems I have. No follow up appointment offered, no clinical advice offered as the consultant used the appointment to attempt to abuse patient. Be warned this will happen to you if you make a complaint.
