My Father was discharged from hospital and was sent out with the wrong medication pack by the staff in Wishaw General
He should have had his medication supplied in a blister pack to enable the Homecare team to administer this to my father in his home however this was not possible due to the medication packs being supplied in a loose format
I am more that concerned as to how this can happen when my father was admitted to Wishaw as a result of not complying with his medication. In my opinion, how anyone can send a 85 year old Dementia patient home with a pack of loose medication including paracetamol is beyond me
It was left to my son and myself to source a Pharmacy that could supply us with a blister pack to at least see him through to this week.
This is on top of the lost keys from my previous correspondance
