"Left still in lots of pain"

About: Chesterfield Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I was referred by my GP for a suspected ruptured ovarian cyst. Had to see triage who never even looked at doctors letter, bloods done, came back clear sent home without scan. Doctor's attitude was that it was a difference of opinion between doctors. Left still in lots of pain, no scan, no further knowledge of what is wrong, now have to go back to GP.

I am really sorry to read your post about your recent visit to the hospital, which left you with your questions unanswered.

I am presuming you have been back to your GP at this stage, but if you would like to tell us more about what happened or would like more advice, please get in touch if you see my post.

Call our Assistance & Complaints team on 01246 512640 (they will receive a copy of this post) or email me direct with your contact details and I will personally pass them on to one of my clinical colleagues.
