"Inflexible"

About: Royal Victoria Hospital (Folkestone) / General medicine

Having to take my elderly Father (92 with Dementia) out of a care home - in a wheel chair with the aid of a special taxi to get an Xray and Blood test done, I had hoped under those circumstances some sort of appointment could be made in those depts. Xray was particularly unhelpful just continuing to say it was a walk in centre and totally unsympathetic!

I am sorry that it was not possible to make an appointment for an x-ray, but the department works quite quickly and generally there is a very little wait.

Similarly blood tests are quick to do and the ticketing system ensures a good flow.

I hope that the results of both the blood test and the x-ray were helpful in providing a diagnosis for your father.
