"Service recieved by local Ambulance service"

About: Gloucestershire Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as the patient),

After suffering from a nose bleed for 5hrs I passed out twice my husband telephoned 999 and was given instructions on how to help while an ambulance was sent. a first responder car arrived with in a few moments and checked how long the ambulance would be.  after being told it was an hour away he told then it was needed sooner and the local ambulance was heading back for their break they picked up the call and arrive within a short time and transported me to Gloucester Hospital.

the care and help I recieved from these excellent medic's was amazing. They helped to calm myself and my husband, I am so grateful to the two chaps that I just thought it should be noted what a great team we have.

Dear Gratful Bunny,

Thank you for taking the time to share your story. I hope you are recovering well.

It is always rewarding to hear stories of how our staff are delivering care and support to patients when they need it most.

We would be happy to share your story with the ambulance staff involved in your care, however to do so we will need some specific information. If you would like us to do this, please may I ask you to contact us on either plaudits@swast.nhs.uk or 01392 453 831 and a member of the Patient Engagement Team will be happy to help you further.

Thank you, again, for taking the time to provide us with feedback.

Kind regards,

Sharifa
