About: Shotley Bridge Hospital Site

Visited the urgent care centre today with my partner and was appalled at the shocking behaviour and the way he was treat and completely dismissed of his symptoms. I work for the NHS and greatly appreciate the struggle they are going through. Waiting times were quick and he was seen to straight away however, the person attending to him was very dismissive and sent him home with no clarification of what was wrong with him.....this resulted in him.coming home both of us worrying for another 6 or so hours and for me to have to ring 111 again! Which could have been avoided had they carried out the correct checks in the format place. 111 advised he go back however he would not attend this clinic again and so the booked him in to Durham university hospital urgent care where he was seen by a lively nurse and came home with a diagnosis of his problems and a clear mind ( only 9 hours later). Appalling service provided today at shotley bridge all because of one person's dismissive manners
