I was quite wary when referred to Dewsbury and district hospital by my GP after a few very poor experiences in the past. I must say this hospital has improved 100%, the care was excellent from start to finish. I spent time in ambulatory care and on the short stay ward. All the staff appeared to like their jobs and were so friendly and caring from the consultants to the porters. Every time I was taken back to my bed the porter said get well soon and made me feel much better after quite painful tests. The ward was so cleaned thoroughly and I couldn't fault anything. I certainly will not worry if ever I am admitted here again
