"Wheelchair Access at Meadows needs to be improved"

About: Specialist Nursing Services / Special needs dental service/Community Dental Service

(as a staff member posting for a carer/relative),

Access for disabled chairs needs to be improved, in my opinion - chairs have to be picked up to turn - tight area for big custom built wheelchairs.

Thank you for taking the time to offer your feedback and we appreciate your comments with regards to wheelchair access at the Meadows Health Centre, in relation to accessing the dental department.

Please be assured that the Dental Service strives to improve access for all patients and has had some alterations made within the department to assist wheelchair users.

We continue to work with the health centre staff at the Meadows to improve services and will raise your comments with the health centre manager.

Thank you again
