I gave birth to my daughter naturally in Liverpool women's hospital she needed resuscitating then I had haemorrhaged and had to go to theatre where I needed a full blood transfusion and a hysterectomy. They tried to stop the bleeding but couldn't so the last option was a hysterectomy.
I was ventilated and transferred to the royal intensive care was kept asleep till next day once stable again I was transferred back to the women's to be with the baby who was in special care waiting to be taken to alder hey as her nose was totally blocked by bone bilateral coanal astresia so couldn't breath through nose so had to be tube fed till she had her operation.
She was in alder hey for a good few weeks and needed quite a few operations.
We both were looked after amazingly can't speak highly enough of anyone who looked after us. I will never be able to thank the people who looked after us enough at the women's the royal and alder hey xxxx
"we both were looked after amazingly"
