"My therapies Help"

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

It is horrible being in hospital over Christmas. I would like to be back with my family. I have been in hospital for 5 months and I see myself getting better because I like the staff and my therapies help. I hope I can get out in about a year.

Thanks you for adding you story to Patient Opinion. I can totally understand why you feel it is horrible being in Hospital over Christmas and that you would much rather be at home with your family as I am sure many of your co-patients would agree. I am glad though that you can see yourself getting better and that you are getting on well with the staff on your ward. As you say, your therapies are helping you and these are so important in your recovery, keep up the good work and I am sure you will be looking to move on at some point soon in the future.
