I unfortunately have hurt my ankle and I am unable to walk on it and I was visiting the a&e dept.
I was really struggling to make my way from the car park to the a&e dept.
I passed two nurses who appeared to have finished at the time and had passed me but then came straight back to make sure I was ok and to find out where I was going and what had happened to me.
The nurses were great as they managed to get me a wheelchair and took me into the department and made sure I was signed in to be seen about my injury.
Without the help and excellent support the nurses gave me yesterday I wouldn't have made it to the hospital.
The ladies were apparently from the speech therapy dept and this has left me feeling great that there is still people in the world like this who care and are willing to help someone in need when they could have simply passed me by.
The nurses names were Colleen and Robin.
"Patient care and the staff going the extra mile."
