I recently gave birth at FGh to our first child. We were fully involved in the decisions made and had all options explained, in full. My husband was also fully involved by the medical staff in these discussions which we were grateful of. During labour, the midwives were fantastic and we couldn't have asked or wished for better care. The midwife was very caring, compassionate and verysupportive. We required the assistance of the obstetric team who were amazing. We cannot thank the team enough. Only area which we felt could be improved was the lack of post natal support on transfer back to the maternity ward despite requesting guidance, we were made to feel slightly stupid and did not feel we got the required support.
"Fabulous maternity care"
