"Hospital referral (Derriford South Devon)"

About: Derriford Hospital / Neurology

(as the patient),

Following a GP Lead consultation a referral was made for a Neurology nerve ending test. This had gone through and I received a written letter from the referral service to make contact and arrange an appointment. The first was rejected. On the next consultation this was resubmitted. Again received a written communication to contact and again was rejected. I did suggest to the operator that the software run was totally and fully not fit for purpose. My reasoning being that if rejected should have only been sent back to the medical practitioner and not sent to the end patient (twice) that could easily create an expectation that some one is on to matters.

Dear Mike

I'm sorry to hear of the issues you have been having with the neurology department. The website is anonymous therefore I would appreciate it if you be kind enough to email to plh-r.PALS@nhs.net with some further information so we may investigate your concerns further.

With best wishes
