I have attended the pre op assessment clinic a few times over the past year for a hip replacement. My treatment has been put on hold a couple of times to allow other health issues I have to be sorted out. Although frustrating that my operation has been put off I appreciate that the department has dealt with it with my best interest at heart. All the staff have been very supportive for which I am very grateful. I hope the ward I shall be on can live up to the professionalism shown by the pre op department.
