Arrived home Saturday having had operation on Tuesday. From beginning to end of my stay was such a positive experience from previous hospital stays in other hospitals. I was extremely nervous and my anaesthetist was absolutely amazing, a credit to their profession, their calming approach and friendliness put me at ease. My consultant was also so wonderful, in every aspect. The team on the SSSU are worth their weight in gold, everyone I met including cleaning and ward staff, porters for X-ray, physiotherapists, were friendly, caring and helpful. I am sure they have all contributed to my recovery and cannot thank,them enough.
