After 2 years of trying to concieve i was referred the hospital and tested for everything possible and the member of staff that I saw decided a laposcopy was the best way forward to check my tubes and ovaries up close. They told me it carries risks but as im healthy they will try and fix anything they can and i should be ok.
I started trying for a baby in july 2014 and june 2016 they perfomed my laposcopy. When i woke i was told i had a small amount endometriosis that they had removed and they had cleared my tubes with dye but one was blocked. They reassured me that it could have gone into spasm and they weren't too worried. They diagnosed me and my husband with unexplained infertility and told me i may become naturally pregnant as a result of my op. But they referred us for 1 x ivf. Our first ive appointment was booked for August 2016 and that month i concieved naturally. I will be forever greatful for their upmost care and professionalism. They were sure id concieve one day and helped me keep believing i could. Im now 14 week's 4 days and cannot wait to being my baby into the world thank you for giving us a helping hand along the way.
The reason i havent gave full stars is purely for thr fact that i had an early scan at 8 weeks and wasnt satisfied with the care the early scans unit gave me and my husband i fount it harsh and lacking care the main nurse was on the phone shouting at people whilst we waited and our appointment was an awful experience so since weve gone private for scans due to the poor experience.
