Like others who have posted, I have to comment on the Moviprep solution, taken in advance. Drinking it was a very unpleasant experience. On the bright side, it did its job well! (I note from NHS responses to posts that it is the intention to provide instructions on possible additions to Moviprep that might improve things - good! )
The actual procedure was a wholly different experience. The Endoscopy Unit is very comfortable and well equipped. The examination went like clockwork, and Dr Wilson and the nurses score 10 out of 10 for everything. I feel that I was very well treated in all respects.
I opted for the Entonox (gas) analgesic. Apart from a few twinges, I had no discomfort. I was back to normal immediately afterwards, and was able to drive home safely.
