We arrived at A and E at 10.30. It was quiet. We were told we would be seen in less than hour. After two and a half hours I made enquiries again . The receptionist said there had been no emergencies so to try and catch a nurse and ask.. We had seen a triage nurse who took a urine sample but said they would ask the doctor if bloods were required.
We saw the doctor at 1.00. The doctor did nothing at all. Said bloods were required but we would have to wait a further two hours for the results. The doctor said the urine sample was lost as there were two people with the same surname. The doctor suggested we went home. My husband was ill and was back in hospital by 8 the following morning .
"Oh dear"
