"Great care after my seizure"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance University Hospital Monklands / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I had to be taken to Monklands Hospital, North Lanarkshire after a seizure at the weekend.

The ambulance staff were fabulous and the A and E staff were incredible. All staff were very helpful and attentive.. All the nurses and doctors who looked after me should be congratulated on their professionalism and kindness with myself and my husband.

I cannot praise them enough, well done!

Dear Weefifi

Thank you for taking the time to post your experience of care during your stay at Monklands Hospital.

I am delighted that your experience was so positive and both you and your husband were treated so well. Our staff realise coming to the Emergency Department is a very stressful time both for patients and their families and they try extremely hard to reduce stress levels which aids recovery. I will be delighted to pass on your kind comments to the ED team.

I do hope you are feeling better now.

Kind regards

Ruth
