"The Peaks Rampton Hospital feedback"

About: Rampton Hospital

(as a volunteer/advocate),

Post done by a service user volunteer on behalf of the Patient

Good Things. about the service here

* Getting on with most of the staff, I’ve come across in the hospital.

* When you speak to your nursing team they listen to your concerns

And try to come to a solution which suits both parties.

*We get quite a lot more gym sessions than we used to.

Things I think could be better.

*Sometimes staff who don’t know you, don’t know how to take you.

Some misunderstand you when you’re having banter.

Brecon Ward.

It is great to hear that Brecon patients are engaging more at the Peaks Unit and finding most of their experiences positive regarding interactions and the care you receive from the nursing team. The introduction of a ward timetable has enabled patients to access the gym on a more regular basis which has a therapeutic effect on mental health.

I hope you continue to work well towards your recovery with the ward staff and are able to build therapeutic relationships as you and staff get to know each other.
