"Something missing from counselling"

About: Six Degrees IAPT

(as the patient),

Counselling: - I felt that I could have been offered more sessions. Although beneficial I felt there was something missing from the sessions & then my counsellor left & it all felt very sudden with no further sessions in mind.

Mindfulness: - The course I felt made up for the "something missing" from my counselling sessions. I made more of a connection I suppose with the many methods & people & service users involved. It felt a lot more interactive, listening to other peoples journeys.

I would like to see "follow up" sessions in Counselling and Mindfulness and updates of services by email alerts so service users are not forgotten and can be comfortable using these services again if needed.

Full794, many thanks for providing us with your opinion. We are pleased to hear you found benefit from both the 1:1 sessions and the mindfulness course.

Unfortunately at this time we are unable to offer Mindfulness follow up/ drop in sessions.
