"A better life for my family"

About: North Worksop Children's Centre (Rhodesia Site)

(as a parent/guardian),

Jo started supporting me when I was pregnant after being referred by Women's Aid, to give me support and advice on coping with a new born. I completed the Baby Incredible Years Programme which gave me the knowledge and to feel more comfortable with raising my new baby boy.

We also looked at other areas of my life such as coping with things that had happened and how to address them and how to look forward to the future. It made me realise that I had other choices and could have a better life for my family and that there was support out there if I needed.

I attend Bumps and Babes with my baby on a weekly basis which encourages me to meet other mums and my baby gets to interact with others. This service has helped me a lot and I am really pleased with the service and if it wasn't for Jo I wouldn't be where I am today. I would like to thank Jo for an amazing service.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We recognise that having the right support at the right time is so important for parents and families. Its great to know that this has not only helped you feel more confident with your baby but has also helped you look to the future with a positive outlook.

I am sure Jo will be pleased to know that her advice and support has made such a difference. We wish you the best of luck in the future and hope you continue to enjoy coming to Bumps and Babes and other Children's Centre services as your baby grows.

Thank you for your lovely comments about Jo and the childrens centre. Our main aim is to support families and their children through difficult times and provide the support needed.

Its good to see how far you have come and that you are now accessing universal services and that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
