Hernia repaired 14/02. Went back in 18/02 to have excess blood drained. Referred again by GP who thought hernia had returned. Consultant confirmed all was well 4/5. Overall service at day centre was excellent. Could have received a bit more info in the literature about what can go wrong post op. e.g. excess blood forming a bulge and required drawing. That was worrying as I thought it was my intestines!
