"Well done, you are obviously well trained"

About: University Hospital Monklands / General Medicine (Wards 2,10,12 and 17) University Hospital Monklands / Respiratory Medicine (Ward 17)

(as the patient),

No one wants to be in hospital if they can help it but my experience of being a patient in these two wards was exceptionally acceptable.

All members of staff were friendly, helpful and very patient when dealing with patients and relatives. Since my discharge I have attended on out patient basis and all grades of staff continue in the same acceptable manner.

Well done, you are obviously well trained, so thank you all for treating me the way you did.

Dear Hillboy

Thank you for taking the time to post your recent experience of several areas within Monklands Hospital.

Across NHSLanarkshire all training programs are developed to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care. Staff recognise the power of a smile and the importance of an introduction to put patients at ease and reduce stress levels.

It is my pleasure to accept your feedback, if you could advise me of the wards/departments, I will share your posting with them.

I hope you are recovering well

Kind regards

Ruth
