I recently had pelvic surgery at the Women's Unit, Stepping Hill and had been quite apprehensive as anticipated painful plus intimate area.The staff were absolutely superb and first rate - the nurses were very attentive and compassionate and made every effort to keep me as comfortable as possible plus were friendly and very approachable.I was treated with dignity and gentleness and put at ease.The Dr attended first thing to discuss my op, check I was happy and understood everything likewise the anaesthetist - both friendly and approachable.I can't praise any of the staff highly enough, thank you
