"Difficulty with Princes Park when ran by SSP Health"

Last year I had a problem with a stye in my eye. Back then it was really hard to get an appointment with the surgery. It took me a couple of weeks to get an appointment. In the meantime my eye was swelling up worse. Then on the day I missed my appointment because I didn’t know how to use the electronic check in system.

In the end I needed to have the stye surgically removed at the Royal.

I haven’t been for a while so I don’t know what it is like now.

Thank you for taking the time to give feedback. We recognised that the previous booking appointment system was difficult with the previous provider. We have worked hard to develop a system that meets the needs of the practice population and patient feedback is that the current system is good for most people.

These options include Same Day Access appointments, Bookable appointments and Telephone Consultations. Please contact the practice for more information 0151 295 9222. Our Reception staff are also available to support patients if you are ever unsure how to use the electronic self-check in screen.
