"Emergency dental treatment"

About: Darlington Memorial Hospital / Oral surgery

(as the patient),

I had severe toothache that got worse by the end of the week, I had no dentist since moving to Darlington and no one to turn to. After a sleepless night Friday and calling 111, I got an appointment on a Saturday tea time and was seen within 10 minutes of the agreed time. It turned out that I had an exposed nerve, the tooth will need root canal surgery or extraction, the dentist was great and did all they could to minimise my pain. What an excellent service, happy to pay the £20 fee, as I am working, was very fair.
