I had a routine e c g at my gp surgery. He telephoned me an hour later expressing some concern and said I need to get to Pilgrim hospital urgently as he suspected I had had a heart attack. Gp notified hospital and a friend drove there. I was admitted through A E and had blood test and e c g within minutes. The dept was busy. Good care by nurses and after 6 hours and more tests and xray was discharged. Well done nhs from gp and staff to hospital staff.
