"Visit to A&E"

About: Royal Hampshire County Hospital / Accident and emergency

I had to attend A&E after a fall, the service I received was excellent, under 10min to see triage nurse, then about 5mins to see Doctor.

They decided I needed head scan, as there was a half hour wait, I was asked if I felt well enough to sit outside in corridor, which I was happy to do, which meant they could attend to another patient. I had the scan, and after a short wait was told it was clear.

All in all it was a very positive experience, only went on advice of GP so didn't feel a 'time waster'. Every part of the hospital I went to was extremely clean and uncluttered, laying on the couch you even notice lights and ceiling, it was all spotless.

Well done to ALL the staff in every department, from doctors, nurses, receptionist, X-ray staff, cleaners etc, you all make it the high quality it is.

Well done!!

Thank you for your feedback regarding our emergency department. It is always lovely to read positive comments, like yours, on the care and treatment patients have received. I have shared these kind words with the teams involved, who I am sure, will be delighted and greatly encouraged by them.
