Tried to ring to book an appointment for a sexual health screening. I suffer from social anxiety and do not enjoy drop in so would rather book an appointment. It was a Thursday and the website said phone lines open until 6pm. It was 3. 30pm and I was ringing until 5pm, hanging up after 5 mins and redialling, getting frustrated, perhaps they are just busy. I then sent an email through the contact form. It took 26 days for them to reply to my email.
I then found a number for the outreach team who informed me that the staff where on a training day and that is why no-one was available to answer. I thought that was slightly absurd but ok. I then rang up the next day to book an appointment to be informed no appointments for 6 weeks. I was upset and asked to put in a complaint. I was informed that the customer liason manager would contact me.
I waited a couple of days and got no contact. I decided I would ring up the main number again and this time I was offered an appointment at a different place. I got myself booked in. Unfortunately on the day of the appointment I had a very bad time with my panic disorder and anxiety. I believe the stress of complaining and then the thought of staff knowing me as the one who complained perhaps made me anxious.
I was waiting about 5 days before I got a voicemail apologising and offering me an appointment...
And then today I got a reply to my first email 26 days ago.
Very disappointed by Locala and I will never use them again
