During a scheduled ECG and treadmill exercise test I was admitted to the Alexander Hospital, Coronary Care Unit. During the early morning hours the following day an Atrial Fibrillation attack resulted in being 'blue lighted' to Worcestershire Royal Hospital where an emergency Angioplasty procedure was undertaken. I was then returned by ambulance to the Redditch Alexander Hospital for recovery.
What's good?
- All Angioplasty support team
- 'ALL' staff at both hospitals
- Andy and Paul quick response
- ambulance crew
- Dr Abban and her specialist team
- Entire ward Staff
-Ongoing Physiotherapy support
-Special appreciation to Dr Andrew Epstein
- Tentative care
- The ward housekeeping staff
What could be improved?
- Although, accept the job has to be done
- Minimize sleep deprivation
- nothing at all except perhaps quieter nights
- Sharing ward with other patients has its difficulties
